I was very happy with the guided tour experience I had with this company. The price was fair considering how much I was able to see of Alsace and the route du vin. Our guide Flo was knowledgeable and personable throughout the day. We visited various wineries in Riquewihr, Eguisheim and around Colmar. as well as visited the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle in the Vosges. This tour was well worth the money and I will highly recommend it to anyone wanting to gain a deeper understanding of Alsace's culture, history and gastronomy.
This is a real mess! Don't trust this travel agency. We bought a tour for Baden-Baden and they put a guide-driver who has never guided tourists to this city and was not sure about how to get over the city. The guide confessed that fact by honesty(much appreciated) by addidng she started guiding tourists only 1,5 month ago. Not comforting sign of professionalim and reliability as far as the travel agency Ophorus and its organisation are concerned, especially if you really wish to discover regional distinctive features. Avoid if you don't to have a bad quality service!
Had a wonderful experience back in summer of 2016 with our guide, Alvaro. The van was super comfortable. It was unfortunately raining so we could not fully enjoy some of the towns, but Alvaro still brought us to some great spots for views and picture taking. You'll get to visit lots of small wine makers and taste a generous selection of Alsace wines. We enjoyed it thoroughly.
